Cannon 1st Grade writing

Cannon came home with a big stack of stories he'd written the other day--they've been on my counter for a couple weeks 😳 but I couldn't just toss them so here is a little sample (and now I can toss them!! 👍) 

The Hay Ride

We went to my bishop's he has a tractor. We were hooked up to 3 trailers. We went fishing. He has horses but the storm struck and ran. And food was blowing everywhere. 

All about my dog

My dog is black and whitei like to walk her I like to ride with her she is a good dog. I like her. She will not bite. We taught her not to. One time we took her raccoon hunting instead she rolled in manure and my dad shot the raccoon with a 22 I sat in the car because I thought it would be too loud. He showed me the dead raccoon now we know that she is not a blue tick hound now we think she is a bird dog. It was really funny.
